Day by Day
Day 1
We will collect you from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and transfer you to Lilai Lodge, where you will stay for one night. The following morning, after enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, we will pick you up and transfer you by road to Konkamoya Lodge.
Days 2, 3 & 4
After arriving at Konkamoya, your safari begins with an evening game drive around the picturesque shores of the lake. The next morning, you’ll wake up to a delicious breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive, returning to camp for lunch and some time to relax. Later in the day, you’ll head out again for another evening drive. A similar program will follow on Days 3 and 4, with optional flexibility depending on your preferences and the wildlife activity in the area.
Days 5, 6 & 7
On the morning of Day 5, after breakfast, we will transfer you by road to the legendary Busanga Plains, where you’ll be staying at Shumba Camp.
You’ll spend the next three nights exploring this extraordinary region, known for its breathtaking landscapes and renowned predator sightings. Game drives will take you across the open plains in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other wildlife that make Busanga such a special place.
Day 8
On the morning of Day 8, you will be transferred by road to Ciela Resort, where you’ll be booked on a bed and breakfast basis, allowing you to enjoy the variety of restaurants available on-site.
The following morning, we will transfer you to Lusaka International Airport for your outbound international flight. Alternatively, since this is a shorter itinerary, we would be delighted to extend your journey to another region of Zambia, should you wish to explore further.

This safari will take you through the wilds of Kafue National Park, skirting around the beautiful shores of Lake Itzhi-Tezhi, and staying at Konkamoya Lodge—an Italian-run operation focused on Italian and African fusion dining, and providing an exceptional experience with its warm hosts in this incredible landscape filled with a diverse range of flora and fauna.
Following that, we will transfer you north to Ntemwa, located on the Busanga Plains, where you will experience Classic Zambia’s phenomenal safari offering. This is an owner-run operation known for its excellent guiding and superb cuisine. The Busanga Plains have long been regarded as one of the top wildlife areas in Southern Africa.
Next, you will move into the Lower Zambezi, one of the most beautiful and wild valleys in Southern Africa, home to a tremendous variety of wildlife—some different from what you would have encountered in Kafue.
Finally, we will fly you up to North Luangwa, where you’ll stay with Classic Zambia’s North Luangwa Camp, a phenomenal operation deep in the heart of the Zambian wilderness.
