We’ll meet you at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and transfer you to Pioneer Camp, where you’ll enjoy alfresco dining and a comfortable night in a Miombo chalet.
Day 2
After breakfast, you’ll journey to our exclusive campsite at Kafue River Lodge. While our team sets up camp and prepares your meal, relax with sundowners by the river or opt for a sunset boat cruise on the tranquil Kafue.
Day 3
Today, we’ll drive towards Jifumpa Village and begin a guided cycling excursion. This ride takes you through the bush to visit local communities supported by Northern Kafue Safaris and, time permitting, a visit with traditional leadership. Return to camp for a relaxed afternoon.
Day 4
Start the day with a gentle walk up Rose Mountain, offering sweeping views of the Kafue wilderness. In the afternoon, unwind with another boat cruise and enjoy your final night in this beautiful area.
Day 5
After breakfast and packing down camp, transfer to KaingU Lodge. On arrival, we recommend a walk to Pamba Rock, where granite boulders offer both scenic views and serenity while our team sets up camp.
Day 6
Begin the day with a boat safari on the Kafue River, rich in birdlife and hippo sightings. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided bush walk to discover the flora, fauna, and tranquil rhythm of this riverside wilderness.
Day 7

Day 8
After breakfast, we head south to the Zambezi River at Chirundu, where you’ll stay at Breezes Camp. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise for your first mesmerizing views of the legendary Zambezi.
Days 9-11
Meet your specialist canoeing guides for a three-night canoe trail down the Zambezi. Paddle between islands, drift past elephants and hippos, and camp on remote riverbanks. This is one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness experiences.
Camping is rustic yet comfortable, and the trail is fully supported by a professional team.
Day 12
After your final morning on the river, meet the Zambia Safari Company team and transfer to Kasaka River Camp, where a comfortable chalet and hearty meal await.
Day 13
Wake early for a full-day game drive into Lower Zambezi National Park—a haven for elephants, lions, leopards, and more. You’ll explore riverine forests, open plains, and dramatic escarpment backdrops before returning to camp for dinner.
Day 14
After an early breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Lusaka (approx. 6-hour drive). Spend your final night at Pioneer Camp, reflecting on your incredible journey.
